Dr Prabhat Kapadia

Dr Prabhat Kapadia is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With an established career in general medicine, he is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare tailored to the unique needs of individuals and families. Dr Kapadia adopts a holistic approach to medicine, ensuring that every patient receives compassionate, evidence-based treatment in a reassuring and professional environment.

Dr Kapadia completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Gajra Raja Medical School, Jiwaji University in Gwalior, India, qualifying in 1980. Following his initial medical training, he completed various hospital rotations, including valuable service in rural communities. He went on to undertake postgraduate training in Australia, achieving a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2005. To further enhance his clinical expertise, he also obtained a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from the University of Sydney in 2016.

Throughout his career, Dr Kapadia has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, allowing him to address a wide spectrum of health concerns. He is particularly passionate about family health, children's health, and paediatrics, utilising his specialised training to support the well-being of younger patients. Additionally, he focuses on preventative care and chronic disease management, with specific expertise in men's health, mental health, skin cancer checks, and Aboriginal health.
