Dr Phi Vu

Dr Phi Vu is a dedicated and compassionate Geriatrician who specialises in providing comprehensive, patient-centred care for older individuals. With a deep commitment to improving the quality of life for her patients, she focuses on the complex and multifaceted health needs that often arise with ageing. Dr Vu adopts a holistic approach to medicine, ensuring that each patient's physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being is thoroughly evaluated and supported.

Her clinical practice encompasses a wide range of geriatric syndromes and complex medical conditions. Dr Vu has particular expertise in cognitive assessments, the diagnosis and management of dementia, and addressing the behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD). She is also highly skilled in delirium management, falls prevention, and the optimisation of complex medication regimens, commonly referred to as polypharmacy management. Through careful assessment and personalised care plans, she aims to help older adults maintain their independence and manage multi-morbidities effectively.

Dr Vu completed her medical education at Monash University, graduating with her medical degree in 2010. Following her university studies, she undertook extensive postgraduate training to qualify as a specialist Geriatrician. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), reflecting her high standards of clinical excellence and dedication to the field of geriatric medicine. She remains actively engaged in professional development to ensure her patients receive the most up-to-date, evidence-based care.
