Dr Peter Murphy

Dr Peter Murphy is a dedicated and highly regarded General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Murphy completed his medical education at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1975. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts. Demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards of general practice, he went on to obtain a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Additionally, Dr Murphy has a distinguished background of service, having previously served as a Captain in the Australian Defence Force.

In his clinical practice, Dr Murphy enjoys all aspects of general medicine, with a particular interest in family medicine, chronic disease management, and emergency medicine. He is known for his supportive nature, not only towards his patients but also in mentoring and assisting registrar doctors.
