Dr Peter McCluskey

Professor Peter McCluskey is a highly distinguished Australian Ophthalmologist who specialises in the diagnosis and management of complex inflammatory eye diseases. With a career spanning decades, he is internationally recognised for his expertise in treating vision-threatening chronic inflammatory eye conditions, including uveitis and ocular infections. As a leading authority in his field, Dr McCluskey is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care, utilising the latest evidence-based treatments to preserve and protect his patients' sight.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr McCluskey holds a prestigious academic appointment as Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology and Eye Health at a leading university in Sydney. He also serves as the Director of a prominent eye research institute, where he oversees cutting-edge clinical trials and laboratory research focused on the mediators of inflammatory eye disease.
