Dr Peter McClelland is a highly regarded Consultant Nephrologist who dedicatedly serves patients requiring expert care for kidney-related conditions. Specialising in Nephrology (Renal Medicine), he provides comprehensive assessment and management for a wide range of renal disorders. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr McClelland has developed deep expertise in managing complex renal conditions. His clinical interests encompass chronic kidney disease, acute renal failure, glomerulonephritis, and accelerated hypertension. He is particularly skilled in kidney replacement therapy, including the management of haemodialysis and tunnelled dialysis catheters, as well as the care of patients undergoing renal transplantation.
