Dr Peter Heffernan

Dr Peter Heffernan is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. They are a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and the Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists. Dr Heffernan has a particular interest in Adult General Psychiatry and Psychotherapy.

They have a special focus on the psychiatric aspects of Chronic Pain Syndrome, as well as the assessment and management of a range of conditions. These include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Mood Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Postnatal Depression.
