Dr Persis Vellore

Dr Persis Vellore is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary healthcare. With a patient-centred approach, she is committed to delivering reassuring and professional medical care to individuals and families. Dr Vellore focuses on preventative medicine and holistic well-being, ensuring that each patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique health needs.

Her clinical interests encompass a broad range of medical areas, with a particular focus on women's health and skin conditions, including detailed dermatoscopic mole checks. Dr Vellore is highly skilled in performing minor surgical procedures, such as skin cancer removals and contraceptive implant insertions. Additionally, she has a strong interest in managing musculoskeletal conditions, such as neck and back pain. To provide the highest standard of care for complex physical issues, she actively collaborates with a multidisciplinary network of specialists, including Pain Physicians, Neurosurgeons, and Neurologists.

Dr Vellore completed her medical training at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2002. Demonstrating her commitment to specialised care, she also obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and was awarded the prestigious Richard Clinton Gutch prize. Dr Vellore is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and contributes to the medical community by serving as an Examiner for the college.
