Dr Penelope Scott

Dr Penelope Scott is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. As a Practice Principal, she brings a wealth of clinical expertise and a reassuring approach to her patients, ensuring that individuals and families receive the highest standard of medical support. Her practice is built on a foundation of empathy, clear communication, and a holistic view of health and wellbeing.

Dr Scott completed her medical training at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2007. Prior to her medical studies, she earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc (Hons)) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Committed to continuous professional development, she has obtained several postgraduate qualifications, including a Diploma in Child Health (DCH), a Diplomate of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG), and an Emergency Medicine Certificate (EMC). She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Scott focuses on delivering tailored healthcare solutions across all stages of life. She has a particular interest in women's and children's health, offering supportive and comprehensive care for families. Her expertise also extends to pregnancy shared care, where she works collaboratively with expectant mothers, as well as emergency medicine and family medicine. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors.
