Dr Penelope Lanfranco

Dr Penelope Lanfranco is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to individuals and families. She believes that establishing a strong, collaborative doctor-patient relationship is fundamental to delivering effective medical care. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Lanfranco supports her patients through all stages of life, ensuring they receive personalised and evidence-based treatment tailored to their unique health needs.

Dr Lanfranco obtained her medical degree from Deakin University in 2014. Following her graduation, she gained valuable clinical experience working across various medical specialties within a major health service before pursuing specialised training in general practice. She successfully achieved her fellowship in general practice in 2020. Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Lanfranco has also completed a Certificate in Children's Health and specialised training in Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTOP).

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Lanfranco enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has a particular interest in Women's Health, Children's Health, Preventative Health, and Chronic Disease Management. In addition to managing acute and ongoing medical conditions, she is highly skilled in performing minor clinical procedures. These include the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants, as well as performing skin lesion biopsies and excisions.
