Dr Paul Wraight

Dr Paul Wraight is a highly accomplished Consultant Endocrinologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders. With a deep commitment to patient-centred care, he focuses on delivering evidence-based, compassionate treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique health needs. His clinical practice encompasses all aspects of general endocrinology, with a particular focus on diabetes management, diabetes-related foot complications, and osteoporosis.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Wraight is a dedicated researcher and educator. He holds an academic appointment as a Clinical Associate Professor, where he is actively involved in the teaching and supervision of medical and podiatry students. His significant research contributions, particularly in the prevention of limb amputations in individuals with diabetes, have been widely published. He also holds key leadership roles within the public health sector, contributing his expertise to multidisciplinary teams and specialised clinical units.

Dr Wraight obtained his medical degree from The University of Melbourne before completing his specialist training in Endocrinology. He subsequently completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focusing on strategies to reduce limb amputations in patients living with diabetes. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and maintains active professional memberships with the Endocrine Society of Australia and the European Association for the Study of Diabetes.
