Dr Paul Grinzi

Dr Paul Grinzi is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. He strongly believes that taking the time to communicate effectively is key to achieving sustainable, long-term health improvements for his patients. With a broad clinical focus, Dr Grinzi provides supportive, non-stigmatised care, ensuring that every individual is treated with respect and empathy.

Dr Grinzi completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci) at Monash University, qualifying in 1998. To further enhance his clinical expertise, he obtained a Master of Medicine (MMed) from The University of Melbourne and a Diploma of Practical Dermatology (Dip Pract Derm) from Cardiff University. He was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2010. Dr Grinzi is an active member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), where he serves as the Chair of the Victorian Drug and Alcohol Committee and is a member of the Special Interest Addiction Network.

Throughout his career, Dr Grinzi has developed significant expertise in several key areas of medicine, including addiction medicine, dermatology, and mental health. He is particularly passionate about supporting patients through alcohol and other drug treatments, managing viral hepatitis, and performing skin cancer checks and minor skin surgeries. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Grinzi is a prominent Medical Educator and holds a position as a Clinical Lecturer at The University of Melbourne, where he contributes to training the next generation of medical professionals.
