Dr Paul De Rooy

Dr Paul De Rooy is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Originally from Canberra, he relocated to Melbourne to pursue his medical studies. Following the completion of his medical degree, Dr De Rooy gained diverse clinical experience by working in various rural emergency departments across Victoria, which helped shape his versatile and reassuring approach to patient care.

Throughout his career, Dr De Rooy has accumulated extensive experience within major metropolitan health services, where he spent a significant period refining his skills, including serving as an Emergency Registrar. This rigorous training in emergency medicine has equipped him with a robust clinical foundation, enabling him to manage acute presentations and complex medical scenarios with confidence and precision.

Dr De Rooy holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice. His clinical interests are broad, with a particular focus on young adult health and performing minor surgical procedures.
