Dr Parth Shah

Dr Parth Shah is a highly qualified and dedicated Ophthalmologist who specialises in paediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and cataract surgery. Committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care, he utilises evidence-based practices and cutting-edge technology to achieve optimal outcomes for patients of all ages. Dr Shah is passionate about providing comprehensive eye care, ranging from routine assessments to complex surgical interventions, ensuring each patient receives a tailored treatment plan designed for their unique needs.

Dr Shah completed his medical training at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours, alongside a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) with Honours. He furthered his academic pursuits by obtaining a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmic Science from the University of Sydney. After completing his comprehensive ophthalmic training in Australia, Dr Shah undertook four prestigious sub-specialty fellowships at internationally renowned institutions across the United Kingdom and the United States of America. These fellowships provided him with advanced training in adult and paediatric strabismus, high-volume cataract surgery, and complex paediatric eye conditions. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Shah is deeply involved in medical education and research. He holds academic appointments as an Adjunct Associate Professor and a Clinical Senior Lecturer, contributing to the training of future medical professionals and supervising Registrars. He regularly publishes clinical research in leading medical journals and presents his findings at national and international conferences.
