Dr Omer Gozubuyuk

Dr Omer Gozubuyuk is a Sports and Exercise Medicine specialist. They are a strong believer in exercise therapy as the main therapeutic approach for the majority of musculoskeletal conditions. They enjoy working with allied health professionals, forming a comprehensive healthcare team for both professional athletes and recreational active people.

Their areas of interest include musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging for diagnostic purposes, follow-up, patient feedback, and therapeutic procedures. Other areas of interest include biomechanics, myofascial chains, and injection therapies such as neural therapy. Dr Gozubuyuk also has an interest in new forms of therapy such as high-volume injections for paratendinitis or hydro-dissection of peripheral nerves.

They perform musculoskeletal injections almost always under ultrasound guidance. Some examples include: the shoulder joint, knee joint (suprapatellar approach), peri-tendinous, peri-ligamentous or intra-lesional injections (PRP), bursal aspirations, peripheral nerve or facial plane blocks (ilioinguinal, LFCN, saphenous, etc.) and sacroiliac joint injections.
