Dr Nidhi Garg

Dr Nidhi Garg is a highly accomplished Consultant Neurologist based in St Leonards, Australia. She specialises in the diagnosis and management of complex neurological conditions, with a particular focus on neuromuscular disorders and peripheral nerve health. Reassuring and dedicated, Dr Garg is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care that helps individuals understand their conditions and navigate their treatment journeys with confidence.

In her clinical practice, Dr Garg possesses specialised expertise in diagnostic nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG). She has extensive experience in both the pre-operative and post-operative assessment of upper limb peripheral nerve disorders. To ensure the best possible outcomes for her patients, she works closely alongside specialist Hand Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, and Neurosurgeons, offering a highly coordinated and multidisciplinary approach to complex nerve management.

Dr Garg completed her medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) from the University of Sydney. She subsequently attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Neurology. Driven by a passion for clinical excellence, she also completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2019 at the University of Sydney, focusing her doctoral research on immune-mediated neuropathies, diagnostic markers, and predictors of treatment response.
