Dr Nicholas Tziavaras

Dr Nicholas Tziavaras is a compassionate and highly regarded General Practitioner based in Leura, Australia. He is deeply passionate about providing patients with comprehensive, timely, and affordable healthcare. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Tziavaras focuses on fostering strong partnerships with his patients to support their overall health and well-being, helping them lead active and independent lives.

Dr Tziavaras completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1988. Following his initial medical training, he undertook specialist postgraduate training in general practice. He successfully completed the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners training programme, achieving his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1995.

Throughout his career, Dr Tziavaras has gained extensive clinical experience across various healthcare settings. He initially practised within a group medical practice in Sydney before relocating to the Blue Mountains, where he established a local general practice in 2005. His clinical interests are broad, with a particular focus on the management of chronic health conditions. Outside of his medical practice, Dr Tziavaras enjoys spending time with his family, being married with two adult children.
