Dr Nicholas Crump

Dr Nicholas Crump is a highly experienced neurologist who consults with Neurology Network Melbourne in Heidelberg, Epping, and Shepparton. He is specially trained in neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disorders, and neurophysiology. Dr Crump is a thorough consultant who uses diagnostic tools such as nerve conduction studies and electrical impulse analysis to evaluate and treat his patients' conditions. He typically sees patients with disorders such as epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, and headaches and migraines. Dr Crump also works as a senior neurologist at Austin Health where he leads the neurodiagnostic laboratory.

Dr Crump gained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 1999 before continuing his advanced neurology training at a number of different medical centres. Dr Crump is actively involved in research and has a particular interest in immune-mediated inflammatory conditions such as MS, myasthenia gravis, and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). He has previously worked on clinical trials for both multiple sclerosis and CIDP and is currently exploring the role of ultrasound in the diagnosis and management of CIDP.
