Dr Neeta Menon

Dr Neeta Menon is a dedicated and compassionate Geriatrician who specialises in providing comprehensive care for older adults. With a deep commitment to promoting the health, independence, and dignity of her patients, she focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of complex conditions associated with ageing. Her clinical approach is highly patient-centred, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to the unique physical, cognitive, and social needs of each individual. She is particularly passionate about delivering culturally sensitive care, ensuring that patients from diverse backgrounds receive respectful and effective communication throughout their healthcare journey.

As an experienced Aged Care Specialist, Dr Menon possesses extensive expertise in managing a wide range of geriatric syndromes. Her primary areas of clinical interest include the prevention of falls, the management of dementia and delirium, and perioperative care. She is highly skilled in stroke medicine, rehabilitation of the elderly, and the care of acutely unwell older adults. By collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, family members, and carers, she strives to optimise mobility, manage polypharmacy, and enhance the overall quality of life for her patients.

Dr Menon completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and undertook her Basic Physician training at a major metropolitan hospital. She subsequently completed her Advanced Specialist training in Geriatric Medicine across several leading tertiary hospitals. In 2016, she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine. She remains an active member of professional medical bodies, continuously updating her clinical knowledge to provide the highest standard of evidence-based care.
