Dr Nayan Soni

Dr Nayan Soni is a compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist who provides holistic and patient-centred mental healthcare. He adopts an integrative, nutritional, and lifestyle-focused approach to facilitate recovery, prevent relapse, and promote long-term wellbeing. Dr Soni aims to inspire hope and foster a growth mindset in his patients and their loved ones, helping them achieve an optimal quality of life.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Soni focuses on general adult psychiatry, men's mental health, and addictive disorders. He has a particular interest in perinatal mental health, including fatherhood and parenting, as well as novel and emerging psychiatric treatments. Additionally, he is highly skilled in neurostimulation and psychotherapy, tailoring his evidence-based treatments to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Dr Soni began his healthcare career with a background in Physiotherapy before completing his medical degree at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. He has trained and worked in a variety of medical and psychiatric settings across Australia. Dr Soni was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) in 2021 and holds an advanced Certificate in Addiction Psychiatry. He remains actively involved in clinical teaching and research to stay at the forefront of psychiatric advancements.
