Dr Monpetta Brunt-Mackenzie

Dr Monpetta Brunt-Mackenzie is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to patients and families in Hope Island, Australia. With a patient-centred approach, she is deeply committed to investing time to understand each individual's unique health journey. Dr Brunt-Mackenzie believes in clear communication and collaborative decision-making, ensuring that patients feel empowered and supported in managing their health and well-being at every stage of life.

Before embarking on her medical career, Dr Brunt-Mackenzie completed studies in Communications, Business, and Finance. She then pursued her medical training, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Bond University in 2013. Demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence, she went on to achieve Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2020.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Brunt-Mackenzie has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She has a strong focus on Women's Health, Antenatal Care, and pregnancy care, alongside baby checks and immunisations. Additionally, she has a special interest in Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics, which is complemented by her expertise in managing injuries, sexual health, mental health, and the complexities of ageing. Her clinical capabilities also extend to performing antenatal ultrasounds and administering cosmetic injectables.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr Brunt-Mackenzie maintains a strong focus on personal fitness, regularly enjoying running and exercising. She also enjoys baking in her spare time, bringing the same dedication and balance to her personal life as she does to her medical practice.
