Dr Mitchell Walmsley

Dr Mitchell Walmsley is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive family healthcare. He enjoys all aspects of medicine, embracing the diverse nature of being a true Generalist. Dr Walmsley is passionate about delivering proactive care and building strong, lasting relationships with his patients, supporting them through every stage of life from infancy to their senior years.

Dr Walmsley completed his medical education at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2015. Upon graduation, he was honoured with the prestigious Australian Medical Association award for achieving the highest clinical marks in his final years. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Additionally, he is an Accredited Skin Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia, having received the college's award for the highest marks in the Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Walmsley has undertaken advanced training to enhance the services he provides to his patients. He has a particular interest in skin cancer medicine, focusing on early diagnosis, treatment, and surgical interventions. His expertise also extends to obstetric ultrasound and joint injections, having completed specialised ultrasound training in these areas. Whether providing antenatal care, managing chronic conditions in older adults, or performing minor procedures, he delivers reassuring and high-quality medical care.
