Dr Miriam Grotowski

Dr Miriam Grotowski is a dedicated and highly accomplished General Practitioner and General Medicine Doctor who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong focus on family healthcare, she is committed to supporting patients through all stages of life. Her clinical approach is characterised by a reassuring and thorough methodology, ensuring that every individual receives personalised and evidence-based medical attention.

Throughout her career, Dr Grotowski has developed particular clinical interests in several key areas of healthcare. She is highly skilled in managing mental health conditions, with a specific focus on eating disorders, and has been instrumental in establishing collaborative care pathways for patients. Additionally, her expertise extends to Paediatrics, sexual health, and chronic disease management, including overweight and obesity management. Dr Grotowski completed her medical training at the University of Newcastle, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine in 1989. Committed to continuous professional development, she obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 1995 and was honoured with Life Membership in 2024. She also completed a Diploma in Shared Care Psychiatry from the NSW Institute of Psychiatry in 2002, focusing on eating disorders, and later earned a Master of Medical Education with Distinction from the University of Dundee in 2020. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
