Dr Mina Botrous is a consultant neurologist with a subspecialty interest in headache disorders and neuro-ophthalmology. He completed his medical degree (MD) at Bond University in 2017, following a Bachelor of Medical Studies (BMedSt). His postgraduate medical training took place at Eastern Health in Victoria, with neurology training at Campbelltown and St George Hospitals in Sydney.
Dr Botrous then undertook two years of advanced subspecialty training in neuro-ophthalmology at Alfred Health and the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. He is currently pursuing a PhD through Monash University, focusing on idiopathic intracranial hypertension.
In addition to his role at Precision Brain, Spine and Pain, Dr Botrous holds appointments at both The Alfred and the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. His clinical interests include headache, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, optic neuritis, complex ophthalmoplegia, cranial nerve palsies, and myasthenia gravis. He also manages conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, and peripheral neuropathy.
