Dr Milena Ruiz

Dr Milena Ruiz is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, she strives to deliver personalised care that addresses the unique physical and emotional needs of each patient. Dr Ruiz believes in fostering strong, trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Ruiz completed her medical education at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. To further her expertise in paediatric care, she obtained a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice. Prior to her work as a General Practitioner, she gained valuable clinical experience working across various major hospitals in Sydney, including prominent paediatric and general tertiary centres, as well as practising in regional New South Wales.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Ruiz has developed a broad range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's and children's health. She is highly experienced in managing hormonal health, including menopause and perimenopause, and is accredited to provide antenatal shared pregnancy care. Her clinical expertise also extends to pre-pregnancy consultations, contraceptive procedures such as Implanon insertions and removals, and the management of chronic diseases. Additionally, she provides preventative health assessments, travel medicine advice, mental health support, and specific treatments such as iron infusions.
