Dr Michelle Ledbury

Dr Michelle Ledbury is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients across all stages of life. With a strong focus on preventative health and individualised treatment, she believes in addressing the whole person by integrating lifestyle, mental well-being, and evidence-based medical care. Her reassuring and patient-centred approach ensures that individuals and families receive supportive, clear, and holistic healthcare tailored to their unique needs.

Throughout her career, Dr Ledbury has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's health and midlife transitions. She offers specialised support in perimenopause and menopause care, contraception counselling, and the insertion of contraceptive devices such as intrauterine devices (IUDs) and implants. Additionally, she is highly skilled in chronic disease management, with focused expertise in chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular health, and type 2 diabetes. Her clinical scope also encompasses lifestyle medicine, nutrition, weight management, aged care, and palliative care, alongside practical procedures such as iron infusions, minor surgery, and ear syringing.

Dr Ledbury completed her medical training in the United Kingdom, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine (BM) from the University of Southampton in 2005. She subsequently undertook postgraduate physician training in London, obtaining her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2009. After relocating to Australia, she continued to expand her clinical expertise in hospital, community, and general practice settings. She earned a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018. Dr Ledbury is also actively involved in medical education, serving as a supervisor for medical students.
