Dr Michael Levitt is a highly qualified Specialist Anaesthetist who provides dedicated and reassuring care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Dr Levitt completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1975. He undertook his specialist training in anaesthesia and was awarded a Fellowship of the Faculty of Anaesthetists of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 1982, followed by a Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 1992. He is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Australian Society of Anaesthetists, the Australian Medical Association, and the Medico-Legal Society of New South Wales.

Throughout his career, Dr Levitt has developed significant expertise in obstetric and gynaecological anaesthesia, with a particular interest in pain relief during labour. He is highly skilled in administering epidural and spinal anaesthesia, as well as managing complex cases such as the difficult airway and fibre-optic intubation.
