Dr Michael Krasovitsky

Dr Michael Krasovitsky is a highly dedicated Medical Oncologist who specialises in the treatment of a wide range of solid tumours. His clinical practice is particularly focused on the management of breast, lung, liver, and advanced thyroid cancers, as well as mesothelioma and thymic malignancies. Dr Krasovitsky is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care that is tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring they receive the most effective and supportive treatment journey possible.

A key area of Dr Krasovitsky's expertise is geriatric oncology, where he focuses on optimising cancer care and supportive treatment for older individuals. He is actively involved in national and international clinical trials aimed at improving outcomes and managing treatment toxicities in older patient populations. In addition to his clinical work, he holds prominent leadership roles in professional organisations dedicated to geriatric oncology, contributing to the advancement of clinical guidelines and quality improvement initiatives on a national scale.

Dr Krasovitsky completed his medical training at the Australian National University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with first-class honours. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Languages with first-class honours, a Diploma of Child Health, and a Master of International Public Health with distinction, where he completed advanced training in biostatistics and epidemiology. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and serves as a Senior Conjoint Lecturer, sharing his expertise through medical education and research.
