Dr Melissa Soares is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning multiple countries, she brings a wealth of international experience and a compassionate approach to her practice. Dr Soares obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Rostov-on-Don in Russia, graduating in 1995. Following the completion of her medical internship in India, she gained valuable clinical experience working in New Zealand and within regional and metropolitan healthcare settings in Australia. She completed her General Practitioner Training in Obstetrics in 2009 and holds a Diploma in Children's Health (DCH). Additionally, she is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice.

Throughout her career, Dr Soares has developed key areas of clinical interest, with a particular focus on Women's Health and Shared Obstetric Care.
