Dr Melanie Hill

Dr Melanie Hill is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. With a strong belief in the importance of continuity of care, she works closely with her patients to empower them to take an active role in understanding and managing their health. Dr Hill is known for her reassuring and approachable manner, aiming to put patients at ease during consultations and firmly believing that a problem shared is a problem halved.

Dr Hill completed her medical degree at University College London Medical School, qualifying in 2001. Following her graduation, she gained extensive experience in hospital medicine across the United Kingdom, rotating through various medical specialities. She achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2005. Dr Hill then completed her specialist General Practice training, obtaining Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and practised as a General Practitioner in Bristol before relocating to Melbourne in 2010.

In her daily practice, Dr Hill enjoys all aspects of family medicine, with particular clinical interests in women's health and sexual health. As a working mother, she understands the unique challenges of balancing family life with professional commitments, which further enhances her empathetic approach to family care. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her young son and exploring the local coffee culture.
