Dr. Mccawley (Mac) Clark-Dickson

Dr. Mac Clark-Dickson is a Gastroenterologist renowned for his patient-centred and holistic approach to clinical practice. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine with Distinction from the Joint Medical Program in 2015 and subsequently completed specialised training in Gastroenterology at Royal North Shore and Bankstown Hospital. Dr. Clark-Dickson achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2022, following which he pursued further subspeciality training in Hepatology at Westmead Hospital.

Throughout his career, Dr. Clark-Dickson has been actively engaged in teaching and mentoring medical students and junior doctors. He is also active in clinical research and has contributions to numerous peer-reviewed journals. He holds accreditation from the Australian Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE), qualifying him to perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures.

Dr. Clark-Dickson's professional interests span a broad spectrum of Gastroenterology, including acute and chronic liver diseases, bowel cancer screening, the impact of diet and lifestyle on gastrointestinal and liver health, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and functional gastrointestinal disorders

Outside of his busy clinical practice, Dr. Clark-Dickson finds joy in cycling, swimming, and reconnecting with rural Australia, where he spent his formative years.
