Dr May Kutty

Dr May Kutty is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and rural practice, she is highly skilled in addressing a wide range of healthcare needs. Dr Kutty is particularly passionate about supporting patients through all stages of life, with a strong focus on delivering holistic and reassuring medical care.

In her daily practice, Dr Kutty has developed a deep interest in Aged Care and Palliative Care, holding a specialised postgraduate qualification in the latter. She is committed to helping patients manage complex and long-term health conditions, specialising in Chronic Disease Management and Diabetes Management. Additionally, she regularly prepares Comprehensive Health Assessments and personalised Care Plans to ensure her patients receive structured, proactive, and supportive healthcare tailored to their individual needs.

Dr Kutty obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1979, having completed her initial medical training in Myanmar. She later undertook her postgraduate medical training at a regional hospital in Queensland, Australia. Demonstrating her commitment to high standards of rural and general medicine, she achieved Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM). She has also earned a Diploma in Palliative Medicine to further enhance her expertise in supportive end-of-life care.
