Dr Matthew Ho

Dr Matthew Ho is an Anaesthetist with a special interest in managing acute pain through advanced techniques. Dr Ho's clinical expertise lies in advanced nerve block techniques, perioperative ultrasound and acute pain management. Dr Ho is committed to regional services and is passionate about building capacity for regional anaesthesia services through training and education. Dr Ho has presented at international conferences in Canada and the USA.

Dr Ho received their medical degree with honours. Following this, Dr Ho completed sub-specialty training in Canada with fellowships in regional anaesthesia, acute pain management and global health.

Dr Ho has held collaborative academic appointments in Canada and Rwanda. Dr Ho's research has been focused on intravenous lidocaine for post-operative pain relief, and knowledge translation through education in global health communities.

Dr Ho is an active contributor to the academic field of anaesthesia.
