Dr Maryanne Docker

Dr Maryanne Docker is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She is inspired by developing long-term relationships with her patients, assisting them with all of their health needs through various life stages. Dr Docker believes in delivering holistic medical support that is tailored to the individual, with a strong focus on understanding the socioeconomic factors that influence overall wellbeing.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Docker provides expert care across multiple areas of family medicine. She has a particular interest in managing complex mental health issues, supporting vulnerable individuals, and delivering high-quality women's and paediatric care. Her clinical expertise also extends to antenatal care, where she serves as an accredited Shared Care General Practitioner for a major metropolitan hospital, as well as adolescent health, travel medicine, and the management of respiratory, liver, and joint conditions. Additionally, she is skilled in performing specific treatments such as iron infusions.

Dr Docker completed her medical education at the University of Sydney, where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Demonstrating her commitment to paediatric medicine, she also obtained a Diploma of Child Health from the same institution. She achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2001. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Docker is actively involved in medical leadership and GP education, serving as a Director of the Central Sydney GP Network.
