Dr Johnson shares her expertise by teaching on RACS courses (ASSET and CcRISP), her main teaching interests are surgical techniques for Gallbladder Surgery, Gastroscopy, Advanced Oesophageal and Gastric Surgery, Hernia Surgery and Gastric and Oesophageal Cancer. She has been on the RACS Victorian State Committee and had a position as a professional advisor on the St Vincent's Hospital Human Research Ethics Committee.
In addition to her wealth of professional experience, Dr Johnson has been an active researcher in the field. Her main research interests involve improving the quality of life for patients after major oesophago-gastric surgery. She has shared her passion for research by presenting her work at conferences globally.
