Dr Martina Mende

Dr Martina Mende is a highly dedicated General Practitioner and GP Obstetrician who is passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare. With a strong focus on health equity and reproductive choice, she provides a welcoming and supportive environment for patients seeking General Practice care. Dr Mende is committed to empowering her patients through education, ensuring they are active participants in their own healthcare journeys.

In her clinical practice, Dr Mende specialises in women's health, sexual health, and reproductive medicine. Her areas of clinical interest include pelvic pain management, endometriosis, dysmenorrhoea, dyspareunia, and early pregnancy care. She is highly skilled in providing contraceptive advice and performing procedures such as intrauterine device (IUD) and birth control implant insertions and removals. Dr Mende's reassuring and empathetic approach helps patients feel comfortable and validated when discussing sensitive health concerns.

Dr Mende completed her Bachelor of Medicine (BMed) degree and went on to obtain a Master of Public Health (MPH). She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds an Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG Adv). Alongside her clinical work, she is actively involved in medical education, working as a Lecturer in reproductive health, and serves on professional committees to advocate for improved healthcare access and standards.
