Dr Mark Toomey

Dr Mark Toomey is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to the health and well-being of his patients. He recognises the significance of fostering enduring patient relationships built upon trust, empathy, and mutual respect. By attentively listening to his patients' concerns and conducting thorough health assessments, he tailors individualised treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes. He provides a comprehensive range of primary care services, ensuring holistic care and wellness throughout all life stages.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr Toomey has developed several key areas of clinical interest. He offers all-encompassing, patient-focused cardiac care, reflecting his special interest in cardiovascular health, which includes comprehensive evaluations and detailed risk assessments. Additionally, he provides empathetic and individualised care for mental health issues, specialising in diagnosing and managing conditions such as anxiety and depression. His clinical expertise also extends to sports medicine, work-related injuries, preventive medicine, and the thoughtful management of chronic conditions.

Dr Toomey holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and has successfully completed the Australian Medical Council (AMC) certificate. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), demonstrating his dedication to lifelong learning and clinical excellence. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Toomey has dedicated significant time to serving as a GP Supervisor, mentoring and guiding the next generation of Doctors to become skilled and compassionate Healthcare Providers. He is also a Justice of the Peace (JP).
