Dr Mark Peterson

Dr Mark Peterson is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who has been serving the Bonnells Bay community for several decades. He is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families. Alongside his wife, who is also a General Practitioner, he established a local medical clinic in the Lake Macquarie region to address a vital need for primary healthcare services in the area. Dr Peterson completed his medical training at the University of Newcastle, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine in 1985. To further enhance his clinical expertise, he went on to obtain a Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has also completed a Master of Family Medicine (Clinical) at Monash University.
