Prior to focusing on general practice, Dr Lun accumulated extensive clinical experience in emergency medicine. He served as a Senior Medical Officer in the emergency department of a regional hospital, where he managed acute medical presentations and honed his skills in urgent care. This diverse background equips him with the expertise to manage a wide array of medical conditions, ranging from acute illnesses to complex chronic diseases. His clinical interests encompass all aspects of General Practice, with a strong emphasis on preventative medicine and family health.

Dr Lun completed his foundational medical education in South Africa, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1985 and subsequently earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1991. Upon moving to Australia, he achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
