Before relocating to Australia, Dr Bell built a diverse and robust medical career in the United Kingdom. After completing his initial medical training, he undertook various hospital training posts to gain extensive experience across multiple clinical areas. He initially worked in urgent care and out-of-hours services, eventually progressing to leadership roles, including serving as a Clinical Lead and a Deputy Clinical Director for a community hospital business unit. He later became a Partner in a busy training practice and served as the Medical Director for a community interest company, where he oversaw out-of-hospital services for a large regional population.

Dr Bell obtained his medical degree from the University of Liverpool, graduating in 1998. He went on to complete his postgraduate training, qualifying as a General Practitioner in 2004. To further his professional standing and ensure the highest standards of care, he holds a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
