Dr Marina McPherson

Dr Marina McPherson is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to supporting patients on their journey towards optimal health. She adopts a holistic and integrative approach to family medicine, combining conventional medical practices with evidence-based complementary therapies. Dr McPherson believes that a balanced lifestyle and wholesome nutrition form the essential foundations of long-term wellness, and she works closely with individuals to identify and address the root causes of their health concerns.

Dr McPherson completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University in 2000 before pursuing postgraduate medical training. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Flinders University in Adelaide in 2005. To further enhance her holistic approach, she undertook extensive postgraduate training in nutritional and environmental medicine. Dr McPherson is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a fellowship with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.

In her clinical practice, Dr McPherson focuses on a wide range of health areas, with a particular interest in women's health, including menopause, perimenopause, and menstrual disorders. She is also highly experienced in managing thyroid conditions, gut and digestive health, and metabolic diseases such as prediabetes and diabetes. Her patient-centred care extends to chronic disease prevention, mental health, and paediatric health, where she provides supportive guidance for children's health and behavioural concerns. Through education and empowerment, she assists families in implementing sustainable lifestyle changes to achieve vitality.
