Dr Marie du Toit

Dr Marie du Toit is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad range of clinical interests, she supports individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr du Toit is known for her reassuring and professional approach, ensuring that every patient feels heard and receives personalised medical attention tailored to their unique health needs.

Dr du Toit commenced her medical journey by earning a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2012. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from James Cook University in 2017. Committed to continuous professional development, she also obtained a Diploma in Child Health. Dr du Toit completed her specialist General Practice training in Brisbane and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2024.

Prior to focusing fully on community medicine, Dr du Toit gained valuable clinical experience serving as a Medical Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force. This diverse background has equipped her with a robust understanding of occupational health and complex medical management. Her clinical passions span a wide spectrum of family medicine, with particular interests in women's health, antenatal care, and paediatric medicine. She is also highly skilled in delivering targeted treatments such as iron infusions and supporting patients with weight management and general health optimisation.
