Dr Maria Igros

Dr Maria Igros is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering high-quality, personalised care to support the overall well-being of individuals and families. Dr Igros is committed to continuous professional development, regularly expanding her medical knowledge to ensure her patients receive the most up-to-date and effective treatments.

Dr Igros began her academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, graduating with the highest academic merit as a gold medallist of the Philippine Pharmaceutical Association. She subsequently pursued her passion for medicine, obtaining her Doctor of Medicine degree. After gaining valuable clinical experience both overseas and within Australia, she achieved her specialist registration as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017.

Throughout her career, Dr Igros has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on chronic disease management, mental health, and women's and children's health. She is also highly skilled in pain management, skin cancer assessments, and the treatment of general medical conditions. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Igros is passionate about mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals, providing supervision and training to medical students and international medical graduates.
