Dr Marcus Hewitson

Dr Marcus Hewitson is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who focuses on delivering comprehensive, whole-person healthcare. With a strong foundation in general practice, he is passionate about empowering his patients through in-depth, personalised care and collaborative health strategies. Dr Hewitson adopts a holistic approach to medicine, combining traditional general practice with evidence-based nutritional and environmental medicine to help patients optimise their health and prevent chronic disease.

Dr Hewitson completed his medical education at the University of New South Wales, graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and a Bachelor of Medical Science. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Committed to continuous professional development, he has undertaken advanced training through prestigious organisations, including the Australasian College of Medical Nutrition and the Walsh Research Institute.

Throughout his career, Dr Hewitson has gained broad clinical experience across various medical specialties, including a significant period working in rural Australia. His clinical interests lie in wellness and preventative medicine, as well as addressing complex illnesses, brain and gut disorders, and allergies. He is also highly skilled in utilising specialised therapies, such as injectable nutrient therapy and chelation therapy, to support his patients' unique health journeys.
