Dr Marc McIntyre

Dr Marc McIntyre is a highly qualified Specialist Anaesthetist dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on ensuring comfort and safety before, during, and after surgery. Dr McIntyre works closely with multidisciplinary surgical teams to deliver tailored anaesthetic plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.

Dr McIntyre obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney in 1988. Following his graduation, he undertook comprehensive specialist training in anaesthesia at major teaching hospitals in Sydney. To further refine his skills, he completed a prestigious post-graduate fellowship at a leading paediatric hospital in Paris, France, before returning to Australia to practise as a Specialist. He is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).

Throughout his career, Dr McIntyre has developed particular clinical interests in several key areas of anaesthesia. He is highly skilled in pain management, as well as providing specialised anaesthetic care for obstetric and gynaecological procedures. Additionally, he has extensive experience in administering anaesthesia for colorectal surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr McIntyre is committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety in all aspects of his practice.
