Dr Mangala Wickramasinghe

Dr Mangala Wickramasinghe is a dedicated and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive mental health care. He is committed to delivering thorough psychiatric assessments, accurate diagnoses, and tailored management plans for his patients. With an empathetic nature and strong listening skills, Dr Wickramasinghe focuses on building meaningful therapeutic relationships to address the underlying causes of mental health concerns and foster a supportive environment of trust and understanding.

Dr Wickramasinghe completed his medical training at the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1996. After relocating to Australia, he pursued advanced training in mental health and achieved specialist recognition as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2018. His extensive training equips him with the expertise to manage complex psychiatric conditions using evidence-based approaches.

In his clinical practice, Dr Wickramasinghe specialises in General Adult Psychiatry. He has a particular interest in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). By combining clinical expertise with a patient-centred approach, he works collaboratively with individuals to support their mental well-being and recovery journeys.
