Dr Malini Rajandran

Dr Malini Rajandran is a dedicated and compassionate Consultant Paediatrician who provides comprehensive, child-centred care for infants, children, and adolescents. With a holistic approach to paediatric medicine, she is committed to supporting families through every stage of their child's development, from infancy through to late adolescence. Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of general paediatric concerns, ensuring that each young patient receives individualised and reassuring care tailored to their unique health needs.

Her clinical interests span a wide range of paediatric conditions, with a particular focus on early childhood health, developmental concerns, and adolescent medicine. Dr Rajandran is highly skilled in managing newborn care, infant feeding difficulties, reflux, and sleep issues. She also provides expert assessment and management for chronic childhood conditions such as asthma, eczema, allergies, constipation, and poor weight gain. Additionally, she has extensive experience in evaluating developmental and behavioural challenges, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, and physical or intellectual disabilities. Her involvement in adolescent health and addiction medicine further highlights her commitment to addressing complex health issues in young people.

Dr Rajandran completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Tasmania in 2011. She subsequently obtained a Diploma in Child Health and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians within the Paediatric and Child Health Division. As an active member of the medical community, she contributes to clinical education as an Associate Lecturer and serves on professional committees, including representing addiction medicine within adolescent and young adult health initiatives. Her dedication to ongoing professional development ensures she remains at the forefront of paediatric medicine.
