Dr Malcolm Clark

Dr Malcolm Clark is a highly dedicated and experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong commitment to community medicine, he supports individuals and families through all stages of life, managing both acute conditions and complex, long-term health issues. Dr Clark is passionate about delivering holistic healthcare that addresses the biological, psychological, and social aspects of his patients' well-being.

Dr Clark commenced his medical training in Dublin in 1990, studying at the Royal College of Surgeons, before returning to Australia to specialise in General Practice. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 1995. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Clark is an Associate Professor who is deeply involved in medical education, teaching students from the University of Melbourne and Monash University Medical School. He is also an active researcher focused on translating primary care research into clinical practice, and he contributes to several professional bodies, including the Eastern Melbourne PHN Clinical Council and the RACGP Victoria Council.

In his clinical practice, Dr Clark has developed a diverse range of special interests to better serve his patients. He is highly skilled in aged care, providing support for conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and Parkinson's disease, as well as assisting with advanced care planning. His expertise also spans men's health, including prostate cancer surveillance, and cardiovascular health assessments. Additionally, Dr Clark performs minor surgical procedures, such as the removal of skin lesions, cysts, and lipomas, and offers specialised services in acupuncture, allergy desensitisation, and weight management programmes.
