Dr Maja Fiser

Dr Maja Fiser is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. She prioritises working collaboratively with her patients to design holistic, individualised treatment plans tailored to their unique health journeys. Believing that a strong doctor-patient relationship is key to positive health outcomes, Dr Fiser offers a reassuring and supportive environment for individuals and families alike.

Dr Fiser completed her Bachelor of Science before graduating with her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 2012. She completed her foundational clinical training at major tertiary and paediatric hospitals in Brisbane. Dr Fiser subsequently obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Committed to continuous professional development, she completed a Diploma of Child Health in 2017, followed by advanced clinical masterclasses in breastfeeding, infant sleep, and perinatal mental health in 2024. Additionally, she completed specialised training in Focussed Psychological Strategies through her professional college in 2024.

With a broad interest in all aspects of family medicine, Dr Fiser has developed particular expertise in women's health, children's health, and preventative healthcare. She is highly passionate about supporting young families, offering accredited shared antenatal care in partnership with local maternity hospitals. Recognising that mental health is foundational to overall well-being, she is also skilled in providing evidence-based psychological support and family planning advice, helping patients navigate various stages of life with confidence.
