Dr Mahtab Ghadiri

Dr Mahtab Ghadiri is a well experienced Specialist Neurologist at CURA Medical Specialists with expertise in General Neurology, focusing particularly on Multiple Sclerosis and various immune-related conditions of the central nervous system.

Her extensive training in Neurology was conducted at renowned medical institutions, including the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Westmead Hospitals. Dr Ghadiri furthered her expertise through clinical and research fellowships in Multiple Sclerosis, with appointments at the Brain and Mind Centre, Sydney, and the Montreal Neurological Institute and McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Her dedication to advancing knowledge in the field led her to complete a PhD at the University of Sydney, where she conducted research into the impact of Multiple Sclerosis drug treatments on immune cells.

Currently, Dr Ghadiri holds the position of Staff Specialist Neurologist at St George Hospital where she also serves as the Head of the Multiple Sclerosis clinic. She is also a Consultant Neurologist at the Multiple Sclerosis clinic within the Brain and Mind Centre at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Additionally, she contributes to the academic community as a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales.
