Dr Mahmood Alam

Dr Mahmood Alam is a highly regarded Medical Oncologist and Consultant Physician dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients navigating cancer diagnoses. Based in Campbelltown, Australia, he specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of solid tumours, with a particular focus on lung, breast, and colorectal cancers. Dr Alam is committed to delivering personalised treatment plans that prioritise patient well-being, utilising advanced therapeutic approaches to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.

Dr Alam obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of the Punjab in 1985, having completed his medical training at Rawalpindi Medical College. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc). Following his initial medical training, he relocated to Australia, where he completed his specialist training and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) within the Adult Medicine Division. To further refine his expertise, he completed a specialised fellowship in lung cancer with the Australian Lung Cancer Trials Group.
